Firetec invests in publishing so that your apparatus information is literally in the hands of fire chiefs. Let's face it, computers are not available where all important reading takes place.
Where Does The Catalog Go?
We mail to over 28,000 fire departments across America and the list is growing every day. The names and addresses are updated personally by Jennifer and Barbara. We don't trust outside firms to manage it, and we modify it daily as the calls and web inquiries come in. Firetec pays the U.S. post office for returns- this means that when ANY of the 28,000+ catalogs that we mail out go to improper addresses, they come back to our office. We immediately update the records. Currently we get about 100 returns per issue (which costs us $100), and that's not bad. We intend to keep the number of returns small! Why does this matter? Because anybody can buy a generic list and mail a catalog, and hope it arrives at its' destination. The Firetec Catalog delivers to the right people every time.
How Much Does It Cost To Advertise My Apparatus?
Nothing. Advertising is part of our service. Marketing your unit is our job. It's our only job. We are not buying trucks, repairing trucks, or fighting fires. We staff a full-time office with one purpose: to sell used apparatus. We earn commission only when we sell your truck, which means we are going to promote it heavily. For FREE.

The Firetec Catalog is published by-monthly. A general rule of thumb is that listings are due the first of the month prior to cover issue. For example, December 1 for January issue. Call 800-347-3832 to find out which issue we're working on today!
