Web searches bring in new customers, but nothing can compete with the loyalty of Firetec customers who count on us time and time again. Thank you for your business! That said, we know that purchasing domain names and building a website with photos of fire trucks is easy. However, establishing a strong company with repeat business requires years of honest dealings and commitment to customers. Not everyone you find online can demonstrate the legitimacy of their "business." Please use caution when shopping for used fire trucks online! Firetec has been working with fire departments since 1983, with thousands of successful transactions. While increased technology has allowed us to better communicate with our customers, it has also opened the door to scammers. We are disturbed by the calls we are getting from our customers, who are frustrated because they have been told that trucks are being "held" for them, when in truth, the individual doing the "holding" had no legal authority to sell the advertised unit. Unfortunately there are crooks in every industry, and our industry is not immune! Please, when you are considering doing business with fire-related companies you find online, be careful. Call the company and ask for references. Then call the references! If they are unwilling or unable to provide real names of real fire departments with whom they've worked, proceed with caution. Selling used fire trucks from one department to another is simple, Firetec has been doing it for years. If it starts to get complicated, something is wrong. Firetec never posts any used fire truck without the written request of the owner. We'll give you their phone number and you can talk with them directly!
